The way I look at it is that NO ONE is going to give away a really good, working system for free because usually they take a huge amount of time and effort to perfect. These people deserve at least a little money for their effort. If you’ve tried this system and it actually works for you, I think that’s great! Doesn’t for me.

The only ‘problem’ with this broker is they mostly trade in the stock market, with a limited access in foreign markets. There are a lot of brokers that offer you varieties nowadays

No matter where you invest your money, always keep in mind not to invest more than 50% of your total capital. Most of investors get emotional and forget that. Trading online is ‘speculation on the market’ people!

Live chat support – terrible. The guy there doesn’t know much, plus their policy on not helping people over the chat is also terrible. They can’t help you with almost anything over the chat. Typical response you get is- send email to our support and they will be able to help you. Even when you are asking about very basic stuff, like information about their products. And when you send email, you will wait 3-4 days for response. In my case their response to my email with very specific basic questions about their product was (after 4 days on Thursday) can I contact you on Monday on the phone to discuss your specific needs? I didn’t respond to that email, but nobody called on Monday, so my query is unresolved, probably forever, because I will not bother to contact them again.

What mostly attracted me to invest with Robinhood is that they trade commission-free and is very easy to do it with the mobile app also. I left my previous broker exactly because I had no time to stay in front of the computer to do the operations they suggested me

You will have as many winners as losers in the long run and end up frustrated and champing at the bit to buy the next system they bring out that will hopefully be the holy grail. They only have 5 years in the market and they are already conquering it. Very well-prepared and informed about the stocks market. Fairly good broker.

The broker pleasantly surprised me with its trading terms and how well support works. Traded with them for about a month, money withdrawal is fair, without delays, support is quite professional, helped me solve some tricky questions a few times. At the moment I am not trading because I don’t have the time for forex, but I like the company.

To me it’s working well during the asia session, when the market move is very tight, set take profit to less than 10 (I use 6). And have a little common sense, it’s a scalper strategy, don’t use it when market is on a strong trend.

The company is open and transparent, the support operators are friendly and are always ready to help, also among the advantages is the presence of a regulator and good trading conditions. I started trading because I had spare time in the afternoon so I needed something to pass the time and why not to earn something extra apart the usual monthly salary. I had only basic knowledge of the economy and I didn’t know how to interpret the charts. This thing was taught by my broker Robinhood. They were a new broker when I started. I thought as I was also new in the trading world, I could start the growth path with them. And, so it was. They taught me so much and they made me earn as well. At first, I did not make risky operations because my account manager advised me not to do so. Now I do almost all kinds of operations because I’m perfectly used to it and I know the ‘strategies’ of my consultant. Wondering if someone can help me choosing a broker. I have tested few MT4 brokers and they are fairly new names but offer amazing conditions. I wish to explore robinhood for stocks. How are their conditions on stocks?

I was client there for about 3 years. If you like to lose money because of Software problems they always have, you’re right there. As they started with forex it even came worse. The FX-book they call as their platform has many errors, and they can’t solve it. Robinhood should test and wait, and then bring something. For Shares or options, they are ok, but a lot of people have problems with them. They should wake up….

I have a stock that I am holding. However, I am interested in selling the stock if the price reaches $20.95 (for profit) or if the drops to $16.24 (to reduce loss). I understand a limit order would facilitate this process. I am a little confused on the which limit order would be needed in this case, and on how I would enter the order to cover both scenarios. Would it be Limit, Stop Loss, or Stop Limit? The platform I am dealing with is Robinhood.

I see peeople that loose 50% of their capital on a real account in one month by using 5% of their capital per trade. And when you start too loose much on a real account, the psychology will kick in and you start to make trading mistakes. I have been here for 6 years and I see the unexperienced risk much more than the experienced.
When I started to trade I risk 5% per trade now I risk 0.5%.

After reading about Robinhood, I researched this space a bit and set up an account with Freetrade (only took a few minutes to get started). Same concept as Robinhood and offers many of the popular ITs (ASL, HVPE, HSL, etc.), stocks and ETFs for £0 per trade.

I see RobinHood has just been fined $1.25M (not a lot for them) for failing to comply with their “best execution” obligations. Looks like they cared more about kickbacks from the frontrunning HFT brokers they were routing orders to than getting a good price for their users.

I’ve been reading about the Robinhood app which provides a free stock trading service. It sounds great and would be something that I’d jump on to straight away if it were available in the UK.

I don’t think RobinHood is progressing much but hope to see more Free Trade offerings in the future

I made a small deposit there but haven’t traded anything because the interface isn’t really that great. But then again, maybe a wonky interface is better than spending a fortune on commissions, which I’m doing at a variety of other places.

Net-net Robinhood customers come out ahead compared if they were to pay say $4.95 per trade.

Robinhood appears legit on the face of it, but I wouldn’t use it because I don’t trust their business model. There are plenty of platforms that will let you trade shares without dealing costs, so long as you pay them an annual fee. Robinhood, on the other hand, claims to make all its money from interest on uninvested cash and margin accounts. Well, I think we all know that’s not going to amount to much.

I trade stocks with Robinhood and I can chat with an experienced trading specialist everytime of the day. I consult my trades and operations with them and it helps me a lot.

From the beginning my financial advisor was very helpful in explaining the platform and helping me with the operations. He explained the possible profits and losses and the strategies to follow in each operation. I’m glad I decided to go with this broker.

There’s another app I came across called Bux which trades in CFD’s at 25 pence per transaction.
I did read that Robinhood are looking to expand into Europe.

This is the worst broker platform I have ever used.I don’t advice any one to trade with them unless they do a proper correction of their behavior.

There are a couple of issue to mention about robinhood.
Firstly the system is rather lag as it is web-based hence it’s forgivable for the lag.I once had an issue logging in and they did not solve it and the market was crashing. It happens some of the time but non serious issue will require you to clear your clache which was ridiculous.

I attempted to join Robbinhood as a client. I have now been trying to open this account for 2 weeks! First there were login problems. Then there were problems trying to link my bank account to my Robbinhood account which are still unresolved.

So far, I have no complaints against robinhood. There is no strong freezes or connection loss. Trading terms are suitable for me. Quite well and tight spread. Perfect charts, convenient and easy UI. Only one cons – quite long verification period.

Not to trust. Do your research about this company before Starting to use it. They can block your account just because they want to.

Veramente un pessimo servizio, la piattaforma di trading funziona malissimo dopo svariati blocchi (come quello di oggi) non si può più aprire posizioni ne usare leva. Assolutamente pessimo e inaccettabile. Chiedo risarcimento unatantum per il disservizio e le perdita di ipotetico guadagno!

Prelevati 220 dollari, mi arriva mail che convertiti in euro e considerati i 5 euro di commissione etoro me ne sarebbero stati accreditati 191. Arriva l’accredito e sono 169…spariti 22 euro. Occhio ragazzi, qui fregano sul serio.

Ad oggi sono 12 giorni da cui ho fatto il versamento e nessuno sa ancora darmi una spiegazione. State alla larga !!

the demo is embarrassing. a surprise every week. last year the charts had a 1 day gap. the one before the servers weren’t running and the ea’s were off for several days. can’t connect this morning. it’s an amazing thing. and we are still real and demo with a 40s java platform that blocks the entire pc or mac to connect.

I have always loved this bank. Best rates, great customer service. Now I see they refunded my 2 $10 excessive transfer fees this month. The platform has always been very stable and is continuously improved with added features for a better trading; the staff is supportive and polite. This company may work for some if you put a lot of money in. But for me I put the required $400 in to begin and from the beginning they push to put more money in. It was tiresome and rude and so unprofessional I found my dealings with the staff unnerving as they lie non stop and deny lying and accurse you of lying etc.. I should have just left and resigned to the fact I’d made a mistake but I wanted to get my money out and I wanted to try trading. I signed up for a bonus not understanding that this locked me in for more than a year. They don’t write a lot, they call you so it is hard to have proof. I would not use this company again if you paid me to. I am yet to find my funds, it seems they have disappeared from my account after not using it for some time due to being told I no longer was able to have assistance to trade as I would not put more money in.

Bad platform and execution, too much swap charges.

Frankly speaking, I wasn’t sure whether I wanna trade or no, but swissquote trading platform made my decision. Nah, that’s not because it’s ‘super comvenient’ or sth like that. The things are much simpler. Its just available for viewing without signing in and, you know, it engaged me so hard, that I decided to open an account and try trading.
Actually, I’m trading with MT4 now, not with WebTrader, as I decided to expand my tech. analysis, but I remember that WebTrader was a feature that made me trading there.

Although I am a beginner in trading I found the platform easy to use with some minor issues that were quickly resolved.

My account has been locked for 2 days because of 2FA issue. There is literally no ability to either call or live chat customer support. I finally did get an email from Robinhood requesting information. It looked legitimate, and I hope and still believe it is. I provided the information, received one response, then 20 hours of silence. And still no access to my account. Once I get access to my account again, closing it. Super frustrating experience. You need to do better when you are holding people’s money/assets

Um eine Rückerstattung mit ihnen zu bekommen, zahlte ich zusätzlich 5000 € und nichts, was sie tun konnten! Mein Mann war so verärgert, dass wir die Worte wechselten, ich hatte Mitleid mit mir.

Very good broker, i like so much. It’s my favorite. They need to lower commissions on major cryptos.

They actively manipulate the functions of the app to force you to lose money. You will see the app go offline when the markets fall rapidly. They charge hidden fees and commissions. Fees increase dramatically when stocks or cryptos rise in price. These people are criminals and it needs to be banned in the uk.

I had some minor problems a few days ago but the support was fast to respond and resolve my issue.

I’ve been using robinhood for about six weeks to trade Crypto. First off the hit you take making a trade is too big for small investors. You’re literally down before you even start. The gains in Crypto can be big so I was willing to overlook this.
